Jinyoung Song is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts at Rutgers University under the direction of Todd Phillips. Originally from South Korea, Jinyoung completed a Bachelor’s of Music degree at Kyunghee University before relocating to New York, where she earned a Master’s of Music degree at Manhattan School of Music with Lucie Robert. Jinyoung also finished a Professional Degree with Lucie Robert at Mannes School of Music before coming to Rutgers to serve as a principal in Rutgers’ Symphony Orchestra.
What has been the best meal of your life?
Dry-aged steak from Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in New York.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation, so I can go see my family in Korea whenever.
