Born and raised in Los Angeles, Chris earned his Bachelor’s of Music from Chapman University under the guidance of William Fitzpatrick. He is an avid lover of chamber music and looks for every opportunity to engage with fellow musicians. Previous music festivals Chris has attended include Idyllwild Arts, Round Top Festival Institute, and Aspen Music Festival. This summer, Chris will be in Vermont for the Taconic Chamber Music Intensive before attending NRO.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I have a keen interest in Russian history, particularly that of the Soviet Union. This has reinforced my love for the music of Dmitri Shostakovich among other 20th century Russian composers.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Telekinesis.
