Cecile Forsberg BW Photo croppedCecile Forsberg is honored to accept the position of Chief Operating Officer with the National Repertory Orchestra and is looking forward to continuing her work with the NRO in this new capacity.  Cecile was first introduced to the NRO experience in 2009 when she became a member of the summer staff.  As the Personnel Intern that summer, she fell in love with the mission of the organization and is proud to be part of the team that continues to build the vision of the NRO.  In 2012 she became the NRO’s Artistic and Operations Director.  Prior, Ms. Forsberg served as the Assistant Personnel Manager with Utah Symphony | Utah Opera.

Cecile received her Master of Music in Artistic Administration from Florida State University.  She also holds a Bachelors of Music in Violin Performance and Music Business from Drake University.  As a violinist, Ms. Forsberg continues to perform and finds immense delight in teaching her violin students, who are always a source of inspiration and endless entertainment.  In her spare time she can likely be found in a remote campground or spending a day out enjoying the scenery with her dog Tellie.  She is incredibly thankful to all of her family and friends that have supported her along the way and in all of life’s adventures.
