Brad Courage photoBrad Courage comes to the National Repertory Orchestra from previous positions at the Castleton Festival, where he was Orchestra Manager, and the Grand Teton Music Festival, where he was Stage Manager.

A New Jersey native, Mr. Courage attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where he earned degrees in trombone performance and anthropology.

Apart from his activities with orchestral management, Mr. Courage is a member of the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, acting principal of the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, and principal of the Wheeling (WV) Symphony. As a freelance trombonist he can also frequently be heard with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Virginia Symphony, and San Antonio Symphony.
