Drew Mangus, 2013 NRO horn, recently won the 2nd horn position with the West Point Military Academy Band. He is excited to be working with SMU and NRO alumni Nick and Nicole Calouri. Drew says, “After the audition, the three of us were actually talking about how the NRO made a huge impact on us and that the experience gave us a tremendous advantage in auditioning and performing professionally.”
Drew expands on his experience with the NRO by stating, “to play great music with such talented musicians was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Add in the friends I made and being in Colorado, it was an unforgettable part of my life!”
