Christine Senavsky (she/her) is elated to return to National Repertory Orchestra and support contributed revenue growth, previously serving as the Personnel Fellow in the summer of 2018. Having studied violin performance and English at the University of Oregon and earning her Masters of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University, she is well-versed in both classical music performance and administration.

Christine discovered the world of Development as an intern in 2018 when she worked alongside Dr. Edda Fields-Black, securing funds to commission and present the groundbreaking classical piece “Requiem for Rice.” Starting in 2019 she wrote on a contract basis for the Colour of Music Festival, a Black classical musicians festival. There, she helped to secure over $500,000 from first-time funders, including the National Endowment for the Arts and South Arts.

From 2020 to 2022 Christine worked full-time at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, an essential service provider in the community during COVID. As the Institutional Giving Officer she served as the primary writer for a $3M foundation and corporate portfolio. In 2023 she moved to Colorado to work at human services nonprofit Mountain Resource Center, where she was responsible for raising over 60% of the agency’s budget. She returned to the arts full-time in 2024, serving as the Senior Manager of Institutional Giving at Colorado Symphony, where she streamlined the grants and corporate portfolio and managed the organization’s Tier II SCFD grant.

Christine earned the nationally recognized Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential in August 2024. Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with her dog outdoors, skiing with her fiancé, mountaineering, and climbing the Colorado 14ers with her friends.
